Where does your firewood come from?
We source our firewood from sustainable forests in the UK. Our logs are 100% British and come from responsible, managed sources.
What types of firewood do you offer?
We offer a range of hardwood logs, including oak, ash, beech, birch, and more. We also offer kindling and firelighters to help get your fire started.
How do I know if your firewood is properly seasoned?
All of our firewood is kiln-dried. This means it’s ready to burn straight away and will provide a clean, efficient burn.
What size are your firewood logs?
Our firewood logs are typically 25cm-30cm in length, with a diameter of 8-15cm. However, we can also provide bespoke sizes to meet your specific requirements.
How is your firewood delivered?
We offer free delivery within a 15-mile radius of our base in St Athan. For deliveries outside of this area, we charge a small fee based on distance. Our firewood is delivered in 1m3 bulk bags and we can also provide loose loads if required.
We deliver the one-metre cubed bags on the back of a Ford Transit Tipper. The back tips up and the bag slides off neatly with all the logs staying within the bag. We are then able to drag the bag further and closer to the destination where you store your logs.
The Ford Transit tipper can access most lanes and drive ways that a normal transit van can.
How should I store my firewood?
It’s important to store your firewood in a dry, ventilated area to ensure it remains properly seasoned. We recommend storing it in a woodshed or covered area, off the ground and away from any moisture.
Can I use your firewood in a wood-burning stove?
Yes, our firewood is suitable for use in wood-burning stoves, as well as open fires and chimineas.
Do you offer a guarantee on your firewood?
Yes, we offer a satisfaction guarantee on all of our firewood. If you’re not happy with the quality of our products, we’ll do everything we can to make it right.
